SOMETIMES ALL YOU NEED IS A TALKING GOAT!
In Dravenloch, music can tame monsters, heal the wounded and rally armies.
But eleven-year-old Ned Numbles is the worst bard apprentice anyone has ever seen.
His off-key singing terrifies livestock and breaks instruments.
When an ancient force known as the Crooner Below starts using music to control monsters and steal voices, it is Ned’s gloriously terrible music that might be the only thing strong enough to fight back.
Accompanied by a sarcastic talking goat, Ned sets off on a journey full of danger, mystery and a host of incompatible creatures.
Blending big adventure, laugh-out-loud humour and a heartfelt message about embracing your flaws, No Tune Ned is a story about finding your voice, even when the world tells you to stay quiet.
About the Author – Oliver Lendon
Oliver Lendon is a web developer who spends his days building digital worlds and his evenings inventing fantastical ones.
He writes middle-grade adventures full of heart, humour and the occasional talking goat.
Growing up, his favourite book was Mort by Terry Pratchett, which showed him that humour and heart can share the same page.
Oliver lives in the Cotswolds with his wife and daughter and admits to drinking more tea than is probably wise!
