Meet Leslie A. Rasmussen
Leslie A. Rasmussen was born and raised in Los Angeles and graduated from UCLA.
She went on to write television comedies for stars including Gerald McRaney, Burt Reynolds, Roseanne Barr, Norm Macdonald and Drew Carey, as well as The Wild Thornberrys and Sweet Valley High.
After leaving the industry to raise her sons, Leslie earned a master’s degree in nutrition and ran her own business for ten years. Her writing has appeared in the Huffington Post, and she speaks on panels discussing female empowerment.
Her novels have received numerous awards, and she has been interviewed about her work on NPR and XM radio.
Leslie lives in Southern California with her husband and two sons. When she isn’t writing, she loves reading, exercising and spending time with friends.
