BOOK REVIEW

I chose to read this book after author Heather Fitt talked about it on her social media. I really am drawn to books that are recommended by people that I like and also I feel we have the same tastes. So I went into blind, I love doing that. Knowing as little as possible and with this book I feel it is imperative to do that. Every time I have been recommending the book I keep saying the same thing, I can’t tell you anything about it but just trust the process.

If I didn’t already have a life book (The Book Thief) then this would definitely be it. I wonder if you will feel the same way I did when you finish it that you wanted to read it again straight away. Because you do get answers to all the questions you will have and so I think a reread would be a different and even more emotional read.

This gripping thriller follows disgraced police officer Harriet Kealty as she tries to unravel the mysterious circumstances of the deaths of her ex-lover’s close friends. I found at times I wanted the pace of Harriet’s chapters to go faster. But that was more my need to know more and being impatient, once I embraced the pace I just let myself be led on the journey.

It really is the OMG and WOW factor book that everyone says it is. When I think about the book even as I type this my body gets this overwhelming feeling of being filled with love.
