Welcome to Love Books Group, today I review The Magic of Christmas by Nora Roberts. Published by Mills and Boon, the book has two stories in it. The Playboy Prince and Charmed. I chose to review Charmed as it appealed more to me with the magic theme.

Two sparkling Christmas reads from the multi-million selling ultimate Queen of Romance!
When it comes to women Prince Bennett has always enjoyed a challenge. So after meeting the quiet and beautiful Lady Hannah Rothschild the dashing prince cannot rest until he breaks through her careful reserve. Love has always been a game to Bennett but with this elusive, mysterious woman he discovers his heart is on the line and he’s playing for keeps…
Her legacy has been as much a curse as a blessing so Anastasia Donovan has learned to keep it hidden but when single dad Boone Sawyer swept into her heart she longed to reveal everything despite her fear of the consequences. Then fate stepped in.

It is beautiful, the lady standing or strolling along the street has become the norm for romance or historical fiction covers, but it works especially if all we can see is the back of their head. A nice bright coat and sparkly lights. Tick tick tick, it works so why change it.
I really enjoyed it. It wasn’t what I was expecting at all. In regards that Charmed, the story I chose to read was not Christmassy at all. It was a tale of love, trust and lots and lots of witchy magic. Oh and sex, there were quite a few steamy pages. Which I have to say is not my normal read. I, of course, skim read the naughty bits.
With loveable characters a fun plot, it just all worked perfectly. I would love more of the characters and I hope they become a series. Scratch that I just checked on Amazon and there is a series. Captivated (The Donovan Legacy #1) is the start, I will be heading on over to order this one once I finish my review.
The perfect gift to give to your romance/fantasy book-loving friends. Plus with the fact you are getting two books in one, it’s brilliant.
I highly recommend the book and Nora Roberts really knows how to write heartfelt emotion. This book ticked all the boxes and then some, I finished it wanting more.
