Who are Honey and Stag?
Kelly Lacey
Kelly Lacey is a successful author marketing consultant with Love Books Tours and an award-winning book blogger and creator with website Love Books Group. With a love of books and helping people she organises and directs the events for Honey & Stag. Bringing together a platter of wonderful talent.
Dr Jacky Collins
Dr Jacky Collins was a senior lecturer in the Department of Arts at Northumbria University (UK), where she taught Spanish, and modules on film, TV and literary crime fictions. Her research interests and publications span international crime fictions, queer fictions and Spanish culture. She is the Festival Director for Newcastle Noir and in her role as ‘Dr Noir’ she is regularly invited to interview a range of internationally acclaimed and emerging authors at crime fiction events across the United Kingdom, in Iceland and recently at New Zealand’s first crime fiction festival Rotorua Noir (2019) Jacky chairs all the Honey & Stag events with the pizzazz and finesse that only she has!
A duo that brings together all their skills and who want Honey & Stag to grow and be a kind, positive and supportive experience for both the participating authors and the viewers.
