Eight years have passed under the eyes of the Merithian Lynx.

Mount Eldberg and its scorched plains await Todd Witherow, heir of House Olsson.

Only by uncovering its secrets and surviving its trials can Todd prove himself to Merithia. Only then might his warnings finally be heard, even as evil reaches their shores and plagues his dreams.

Meanwhile, Abbey Shelton has grown tired of living in Todd’s shadow.

Determined to discover the fate of the Sabres, she sets out to learn whether they remain trapped within the Tower of Justice, have been executed for their crimes or have somehow escaped Merithia’s grasp.

Without their steel, can Grenyard’s reign of terror ever truly end?

In Arcaya, General Bestla’s legacy has passed to his daughter, Heidi.

War runs in her blood, and she is ruthlessly determined to seek revenge against those she holds responsible for the deaths of her parents.

Father Featherstone is more than willing to assist, using Heidi’s inherited wealth, estate and title in the name of justice.

But revenge comes at a price.

Annihilation is drawing near.

The Veleth’s will must be delivered.

Who shall burn?

About C.S. Wood

Described as having a dark imagination, C.S. Wood has spent more than a decade creating the Gothic world at the heart of his SABRE series.

His influences include Mary Shelley, Bram Stoker and Stephen King, alongside Lovecraftian horror and darker media including Bloodborne, DOOM and The Thing.

Born in Nottinghamshire, Craig also developed a love for Tolkien and Rudyard Kipling through childhood adventures with Scouts, Cadets, the Duke of Edinburgh programme and friends.

His passion for storytelling began early, writing his own books complete with gory illustrations before later studying Journalism at the University of Central Lancashire.

His fascination with history and Gothic media continues to influence his fiction.

Away from writing, Craig performs in covers band Parlaiz, follows Nottingham Forest, enjoys grimdark and Warhammer 40K, and spends time with his family.
