About Louise Briony Hallam

Louise Briony Hallam grew up in Sydney, Australia, where she spent much of her youth immersed in classic fantasy epics by authors including David Eddings, Raymond E. Feist, Terry Brooks, Robert Jordan and Robin Hobb.

Her love of nature led to a lifelong career in ecology, but her passion for fantasy fiction never left her.

In 2022, she began writing the Stone of Souls Trilogy.

Louise now lives near Canberra, Australia, with her husband Andrew, their son Finn, cats Aya and Tom, and dogs Jake and Julie.

Guardians of Destiny is her debut novel.
