About Rob Harris

Rob Harris is the author of four novels, including the complete Barry White trilogy and Don’t Shoot the Messenger, which was released in April 2026. All of his fictional works to date have been published by Bloodhound Books.

He’s also written two sports books, including Won’t You Dance for Virat Kohli?, about the highs and frequent lows of being a committed village cricketer.

Before becoming an author, Rob spent more than 15 years working in regional newspapers as a journalist, sports editor and sub-editor. He is a former editor of The Forester newspaper and has been named Gloucestershire Media Sports Writer of the Year.

Originally from the Forest of Dean, Rob now lives in Oxfordshire with his wife and daughter — and can still be found knocking around village cricket grounds, allegedly “for fun”.
