We have something lighter and full of romantic mishaps coming to Love Books Tours this September.

From 1st–7th September, our #LBTCrew will be reading and reviewing Blindly Yours: Love, Friendship, And…Comedic Chaos by Patrice Gouin.

At 175 pages, this romantic comedy promises friendship, romantic near-misses, plenty of advice and characters who perhaps aren’t quite as good at navigating their own love lives as they think they are.

“The relationship with Gerard was pretty good and I actually thought he was going to propose. Until I found out he was already engaged. It was safe to assume he wasn’t going to propose.”

Nicole has very little life experience.

She’s currently single, has a good job in Conley, but is considering accepting a new position in Greenberg. She’s also wondering whether she should pursue a relationship with an old high-school friend who lives there.

Then her best friend’s brother moves into Conley — and finds himself attracted to Nicole.

Cue the not-so-drama.

Meanwhile, Nicole’s more experienced best friend Paige is always ready to offer advice.

Paige is currently in a relationship herself but hasn’t quite realised that she has trust issues of her own.

The story unfolds from Paige’s witty, advice-giving perspective as the observant friend who is simultaneously trying to navigate her own romantic journey.

With playful near-misses and relatable relationships at its heart, Blindly Yours promises fun, warmth, curiosity and plenty of emotional engagement.

About Patrice Gouin

Patrice Gouin started reading at the age of three and, by around eight, had begun writing short stories and poetry in notebooks at home.

A few decades later, she decided it was time to share her writing with a much wider audience in the form of her romantic comedy, Blindly Yours: Love, Friendship…And Comedic Chaos.

When she isn’t writing, Patrice devours romantic comedies, historical fiction and psychological thrillers.

She also loves dancing and trying new foods — although which one wins her attention depends entirely on the day.

Whatever comes next, one thing is certain: she’ll definitely be writing.
