We’re packing our bags and heading to Europe for our next Love Books Tours adventure!

From 22nd August–4th September, our #LBTCrew will be travelling with Barcelona with Love by Ian Ostroff — a romantic comedy packed with travel, relationships, big life decisions and the unexpected turns that happen when even the best-laid plans fall apart.

Even better, the tour begins on Publication Day, 22nd August, so we’ll be celebrating this new release from day one!

About Barcelona with Love

Noah Pérez, a third-year architecture student convinced he’s starring in God’s favourite sitcom, thinks he has planned the perfect anniversary surprise: a romantic trip to Barcelona with his girlfriend, Rachel.

The goal? Reconnect with his Sephardic roots and reignite their relationship before graduation.

Then Rachel’s family invites him on their annual Amalfi Coast getaway at the last minute — completely derailing his plans.

When Noah tries to convince Rachel to choose Barcelona, she sees it as being forced to choose between her relationship and her family. With tensions already bubbling beneath the surface, it ultimately leads to a painful breakup.

Heartbroken but still determined, Noah heads to Barcelona alone.

Suddenly immersed in a world of hostels and backpackers, he meets Phoebe, a British entrepreneur planning to open a café in Portugal.

Her fearless approach to life inspires Noah to make an impulsive promise: he’ll be in the Algarve for her grand opening.

There’s just one problem.

He’s supposed to be back home for senior year.

If Noah stays in Europe, he risks sacrificing everything he has worked for at school.

If he goes home, he might be giving up the “everything” he has always wanted to find.

About Ian Ostroff

Ian Ostroff is an indie author, journalist and copywriter from Montreal with a Mexican-Jewish background and a deep connection to Latin American culture.

His journalism has appeared in a number of outlets, including Mexico News Daily, The Suburban Newspaper and Map Happy.

When he isn’t writing, you’ll likely find Ian at the gym, in his neighbourhood café or planning his next travel adventure somewhere with a beach and beginner-friendly surf breaks.
