About the Author

J.L. McCreedy spent over a year living in Rodenbach, Germany, in the state of Hessen while preparing the first draft of Liberty Frye and the Witches of Hessen. She first discovered her love of writing—and developed an incurable case of wanderlust—while growing up throughout Southeast Asia as a third-culture kid.

She holds a BA in English and a law degree and is the author of the Liberty Frye trilogy, a young adult intrigue/suspense novel, and co-author of two read-aloud picture books.
