Acorn & Ink Publishing is delighted to announce the signing of acclaimed author Rebecca McKinney to a three-book publishing deal, securing the rights to publish her forthcoming Jones & Bell thriller series.
The deal marks another significant milestone for the independent publisher as it continues to expand its catalogue with exceptional commercial fiction and talented authors.
Founders Kelly Lacey and Dwayne Mathers are thrilled to welcome Rebecca to the Acorn & Ink family.
Rebecca is an accomplished writer whose work has already received critical recognition. Her novel The Angel in the Stone was shortlisted for the Highland Book Prize, following the publication of her debut novel Blast Radius. Alongside her novels, she has also published short stories and poetry, earning a reputation for thoughtful, character-driven storytelling that explores the complexities of the human experience.
Beyond her fiction, Rebecca is a community development practitioner, trained counsellor and creative writing facilitator who is passionate about empowering others through storytelling. Her belief that fiction should reveal the truth of what it means to be human is evident throughout her work and brings a distinctive depth to every story she tells.
Now, Rebecca is turning her attention to crime fiction with the Jones & Bell thriller series, and Acorn & Ink is proud to be bringing these gripping novels to readers. Featuring compelling investigators, intricate mysteries and page-turning suspense, the series promises everything thriller fans love while showcasing Rebecca’s powerful storytelling.
