About the Author
Marya Burgess enjoyed a distinguished BBC career spanning almost forty years. She reported for Woman’s Hour and PM, produced All in the Mind and For One Night Only, and later curated The Listening Project in partnership with the British Library.
After moving to rural Scotland, Marya finally found the time and inspiration to tell her mother’s remarkable story, resulting in the deeply personal and compelling novel Finding Ida.
