About the Author

Mary Shotwell is the author of charming romances filled with warmth, humour, and heart.

Her novel Christmas Island, the third book in the Waverly Lake series, was a 2023 RONE Award finalist, while her debut romance, Christmas Catch, received a starred review from Library Journal and was shortlisted for the 2019 Golden Leaf Award for Best First Book.

In addition to writing romance, Mary’s speculative fiction has appeared in several anthologies, and her non-fiction work has been featured in Chicken Soup for the Soul: The Magic of Christmas.

She lives in Tennessee with her husband and three children, where she enjoys baking sweet treats, celebrating the holidays, and hosting family movie nights.
