About the Author

Eden Maddox resides in eastern PA and has been fascinated by Ancient Rome since childhood, but her passion goes beyond the facts. She’s always had a keen psychological attraction to the extremes of human nature present in that period.

How could a society so advanced and cultured also be so cruel and violent? And even more haunting, what if that volatile time was examined through the lens of modern values?
