About the Author
Having worn many hats in her lifetime, writing is one of Gillian Jackson’s most fulfilling.
Her initial career was in childcare as the owner and manager of a day nursery. She later trained as a therapeutic counsellor before moving into the voluntary sector, working with Victim Support.
Her five years with this incredible organisation provided a wealth of experience and insight into human nature and the criminal justice system. The diversity of people using the service has enriched her own life experience and empathy with others, which she hopes is reflected in her writing.
Gillian mainly writes crime and domestic thrillers, although three women’s fiction novels have been her latest project and are now available.
