✍️ About the Author
Jackie Baldwin grew up in Dumfries in south-west Scotland. After studying law, she practised for twenty years before retraining as a hypnotherapist — and during that time wrote her first crime novel, published in 2016.
Since then, she has written a further seven books, with Poison at the Wild Haggis Bookshop being her latest release.
When she’s not writing, Jackie can often be found roaming the East Lothian countryside with her golden retriever, Lucy — likely windswept, muddy or beach-splashed, and perfectly happy about it.
