✍️ About the Author
Effie Kammenou believes it’s never too late to chase your dreams. After a long career in the optical field, she published her debut novel in 2015 and has since built a celebrated body of work inspired by her Greek heritage and family history.
Her novels have been finalists and award winners in multiple competitions including the Readers Favorite Book Awards and the International Book Awards. A first-generation Greek-American, Effie lives on Long Island and continues to draw inspiration from her family’s stories, travel, theatre background, and love of food and tradition.
