Bobby Cussens lives in County Durham with her husband and Stan, their labrador. When she’s not plotting fictional murders, she’s hiking or cycling across Muggleswick Moor and around Derwent Reservoir.
After decades as an aspiring crime writer, this is her debut novel. The next instalment in the Detective Heather Hudson series is already underway and scheduled for publication in summer 2026.
