From chimney chaos (yes, Rupert ends up in one!) to snowy surprises, this festive tale is packed with gentle humour, warmth, and the magical spirit of Christmas.
The Characters
- Rupert – A soft-hearted Scottish Deerhound with a love of chocolate and pancakes (and a habit of falling into water!).
- Nell – A loyal Border Collie who grew up helping on a farm before joining Mr McTavish in a cosy cottage by Loch Ness.
- Wee Nessie – The daughter of the Loch Ness Monster, a spirited young flier who carries Rupert and Nell on all their adventures — hidden by clouds of steam, of course!
About the Author
Bill Brodie grew up on a small Scottish farm surrounded by the inspiration that shaped Rupert and Nell’s world. Originally written to entertain his nieces, the series has grown into a much-loved collection of adventures enjoyed by children everywhere.
