👤 Author Bio
Sharon Maas was born in Georgetown, Guyana, in 1951 and educated in England, Guyana and Germany. She began her writing career as a trainee reporter with the Guyana Graphic before moving into feature journalism. Her first novel, Of Marriageable Age, was published in 1999, and she has since written ten novels spanning continents, cultures, and eras.
From the sugar fields of South America to the battlefields of France and the vibrant landscapes of India, Sharon crafts emotional, immersive stories for readers who love to travel through fiction.
