As soon as I heard about the book launch for Fade Into You by Catriona Child at Blackwells in Edinburgh on 21st March, I was filled with excitement. I could hardly wait to go, so I reached out to my good friend @portybelle the book reviewer from Portobello Book Blog, and we decided to go together.

Today is International Women’s Day and I was tagged by Joanna from @jojosovertherainbowblog to show which six literary women I’d invite to my dinner party.

Started my March reading list off right - Val McDermid's 1979! I can already tell it's going to be an epic tale of adventure and suspense as Allie Burns seeks to become a major player in a world that hasn't quite accepted female reporters yet.
