All The We Have Lost by Suzanne Fortin

Review by Kelly Lacey

This duel timeline adventure kept me hooked from the first page. It was intriguing well written with strong and believable plotlines. There was no cheesy fluff it was endearing and relatable.

Following these two strong characters lives was such a treat. We have 18-year-old Simone Varon who is living life in France during the Occupation. Fast forward to Imogen Wren who is struggling with her own identity and needs after the death of her husband.

I really liked both of the characters. They had their own struggles and Simone’s life had a huge part to play on Imogen’s.

I feel like I visited the chateau in France, it really made me put Tredion on my list of places to visit. I found wonderful chateaus on Google that really could have been Imogen’s. It has turrets and everything.

The book is perfect for readers who enjoy books by Louise Fein and Rachel Hore.

A believable and heart-wrenching read, that will linger as you finish the last page!

Five stars
