My scheduled post as part of the How to Marry Your Husband tour is today. However, Arrow Publishing released the statement below to say that Jacqueline Rohen has passed away. I don’t feel it is appropriate to post my review today, so I will do so at a later day. Sending all my love to Jacqueline’s family and friends at this devastating time.

Some very sad news to share:
The Rohen family announces with great sadness the sudden passing of Jacqueline Rohen on 28th April at her home in Uganda.
At Arrow and Cornerstone, we are shocked and saddened by the sudden passing of our author Jacqueline Rohen. Jax had been due to publish her first novel ‘How to Marry Your Husband’ with us this month. We were looking forward to celebrating the occasion and continuing to grow her writing career at Arrow. Our thoughts are with her family and her fiancé Matt at this time.
Sonny Marr, Editor at Arrow, says: ‘Jax was a brilliant author and a friend. It was a privilege to have been her editor and she will be greatly missed.’
Luigi Bonomi, Jacqueline’s agent at LBA, says: ‘Jacqueline Rohen was a hugely talented author with a wonderful sense of humour. We were discussing the new novel she was writing the week before she died and she was so excited. The industry has lost a great talent.’
Jacqueline and her fiancé Matt dedicated their lives to the welfare of chimpanzees, protecting their habitat and supporting local communities in Uganda. Together they established and ran the Bulindi Chimpanzee and Community Project. You can read more about their work and donate to the project here:
