BEST Book Launch Ever – The Inheritance of Solomon Farthing @mspaulsonellis @MantleBooks @panmacmillan @GoldenHareBooks

So on September the 12th myself and Joanne from Portobello Book Blog attended what was in my opinion the best book launch ever. It was held at The Royal Scots Club on Abercromby Place in Edinburgh. The book launching was The Inheritance of Solomon Farthing by Mary Paulson-Ellis. I am sorry for the lateness of my feature, due to ill health it was delayed and I really wanted to take my time and share with you the feelings and emotions of the evening.

On arrival at the beautiful Royal Scots Club, we were offered a beverage. I had orange with rum and spices and Joanne had lovely glass of bubbles. All the staff were dressed in old fashioned war uniforms. It was so realistic. Almost like we had been transported back in time.

We were then shown into a grand library room with games being played. Food was being passed around in little tin trays.

We were then moved to a beautiful room underneath the building. We had this wonderful group of singers creating an atmospheric journey down the stairs for the attendees.

The evening continued with emotional moments and wonderful readings from The Inheritance of Solomon Farthing. Followed by a book signing, I will treasure my copy forever.

There really was something so very special and beautiful about the evening. I haven’t been to a launch like it ever. You left the building feeling like you had been part of something significant and important.

The Inheritance of Solomon Farthing

Solomon knew that he had one advantage. A pawn ticket belonging to a dead man tucked into his top pocket – the only clue to the truth . . .
