I was beyond lucky to experience one of my life goals the other day. I have tried many times over the years to grab a cup of coffee in The Elephant House, Edinburgh. It is where JK Rowling went to write Harry Potter.  But normally the queue is so long it is out the cafe and down the block.

So it was a magical moment indeed. I had a hazelnut and Nutella cake slice and a cup of coffee. I was with my friend Dawn Geddes and she told me I had to pay a visit to the ladies room. JK Rowling’s fans have left her messages all over the walls. It really is a site to see.

I took some photographs to share with you. It really was a wonderful experience.
