Sheridan Smith, made the impossible, possible last night. She took a role so synonymous with Barbara Streisand and made it her own. Her Fanny Brice is stupendous and unforgettable.
Darius is a long way from his raw beginnings in the Pop Idol show. His strong stage presence is phenomenal, he is handsome and debonair. The chemistry between himself and Sheridan Smith was electric. A duo I would never have thought would work together, trumps ahead as a force to be reckoned with.
With a talented supporting cast, this ensemble had the people shouting for more at The Edinburgh Playhouse.
It was a journey of copious amounts of laughter and a river of tears. So beautifully directed by Michael Mayer and well staged. There was not a moment of boredom, this fast-paced show has you on the edge of your seat for the duration.
No one could rain on the parade of this marvelous show! Book your tickets today.
