Hi, I’m Kelly — founder of Love Books Tours.

I’m based in Dunfermline, Scotland, where I live with my partner and spend most of my days immersed in books, campaigns, and community building.

My blogging journey began back in January 2017 as a much-needed creative outlet — a place to talk about the thing I love most: books. What started as a personal passion quickly grew into something far bigger than I ever imagined. Over the years, it has connected me with incredible authors, publishers, readers, and reviewers from across the UK, the US, and beyond. Today, books — and the people who love them — are at the heart of my daily life.

Since launching, my platforms have reached over half a million views, something I’m deeply grateful for. I’m passionate about social media and the way it brings the bookish community together, particularly on Instagram, where connection, conversation, and visual storytelling thrive. I love creating reader-focused content that feels welcoming, inclusive, and genuinely useful — never intimidating or elitist.

My favourite book is The Book Thief by Markus Zusak — a grounding, powerful story I return to when life gets noisy. A few chapters always remind me why stories matter so much.

Community is everything to me. I’m a huge supporter of bloggers and Bookstagrammers, and I strongly believe we’re better when we lift each other up. Kindness, encouragement, and collaboration sit at the core of everything I do. I stay clear of drama — there’s room for everyone in this brilliant world of books.

I’m also firmly against entitlement within the book community. I believe that everyone — regardless of follower count or platform size — deserves the opportunity to read, review, and enjoy books. Passion should always matter more than statistics.

Alongside blogging, I run Love Books Tours, delivering carefully curated virtual book tours, read-alongs, and promotional campaigns for authors and publishers. With a network of over 3,000 genre-specific reviewers and over 600,000 engagements in the past 30 days, we make book promotion feel personal, professional, and stress-free — always with readers at the centre.

Books aren’t just part of my life — they are my life.
