Hi, I’m Kelly — founder of Love Books Tours, based just outside Edinburgh where I also care for my elderly parents.

My blogging journey began in January 2017 as a much-needed creative outlet to talk about the thing I love most: books. What started as a personal passion has grown into something truly special, connecting me with incredible authors, readers, and fellow bloggers. It’s now a huge part of my daily life, and I honestly can’t imagine being without it.

Since launching the blog, I’ve reached over 500,000 views — something that fills me with immense gratitude. I’m passionate about social media and the way it brings the bookish community together. My favourite book is The Book Thief by Markus Zusak — a grounding, powerful story I turn to when life gets noisy. A couple of chapters always remind me what really matters.

I’m a huge supporter of the blogging community. I believe we’re stronger together, and I’m all about lifting others up with kindness, positivity, and encouragement. I stay clear of drama — there’s space for all of us in this brilliant world of books.

I’m strongly against entitlement in the book community. I believe that everyone—regardless of their follower count or platform size—deserves the chance to review and enjoy books. Passion, not stats, should open the door.

Alongside blogging, I also run Love Books Tours — offering virtual book tours and promotional campaigns for authors. With over 3,000 genre-specific reviewers and an average monthly Instagram engagement of 167K+, we make it easy for authors to connect with the right readers, without the stress.

Books are my world — I live and breathe them every day.
