Donna Gowland is a writer and teacher who lives by the seaside with her family and their schnauzer dog.
A lifelong lover of literature, Donna published her first poem while still at junior school and has since written prize-winning poetry, short stories and non-fiction. Her fascination with Mary Shelley, Gothic literature and the dramatic relationship between Mary and Percy Shelley inspired the Mary Shelley Investigations series.
Combining literary history with gripping murder mysteries, the series offers readers a unique sleuthing heroine drawn from real life.
