✍️ Author Bio
Alan Bayles was born in Hartlepool in 1970 and lived in Langley Park, Durham, until 2006, when he moved to Northern Ireland. A lifelong fan of fantasy, science fiction, action, adventure, and thrillers, his favourite authors include Stephen King, James Herbert, Clive Cussler, Dean Koontz, Audrey Niffenegger, and Neil Gaiman.
Inspired by his love of sci-fi and fantasy — and his experiences as a twin — Alan wrote his debut novel Double Jeopardy in April 2020, launching the Mirror Wars series with its themes of parallel worlds and doppelgangers. When he’s not writing, Alan enjoys Marvel comics, films, and classic TV shows such as Blake’s 7, Babylon 5, and Star Trek.
