✍️ About the Author
Suni Samara is a Scottish writer, carer, and artist. Born to parents who moved from India to Scotland, Suni draws from lived experience in her writing.
The Invisible Cage is her debut novel — a fictionalised account inspired by her own life, blending own-voices storytelling with contemporary themes. Suni is a science graduate and former educator, with experience teaching both mainstream science and special needs education. She lives in Glasgow with her two daughters and continues to write stories that centre identity, visibility, and voice.
