About the Author
Joey Coleman earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Victoria, where she first uncovered her love of storytelling. Her debut novella, Marbles, was published in 2015.
Now a registered sign language interpreter and advocate for underrepresented communities, Joey is passionate about creating strong, empowering female characters—stories she hopes her young daughter will grow up proud of. She currently lives in B.C., Canada with her family.
