👩💻 About the Author
Sharon Maas was born in Georgetown, Guyana, into a prominent political family, and educated in Guyana, England, and Germany. She began her career in journalism, writing for the Guyana Graphic and the Sunday Chronicle.
Her first novel, Of Marriageable Age, was published by HarperCollins in 1999. She later joined Bookouture, and now has ten novels that span continents and eras — from the sugar plantations of British Guiana to the battlefields of France and the villages of South India. Sharon’s work is celebrated for its sweeping settings, emotional depth, and rich storytelling.
