Review: Every Last Lie by Mary Kubica

Every Last Lie by Mary Kubica completely blew me away — hands down one of the best thrillers I’ve ever read. From the very first chapter, I was hooked, tumbling right into Clara’s grief, confusion, and desperate need for answers.

What Kubica does so brilliantly is blur the line between truth and deception until you don’t know what’s real and what’s a lie. I found myself questioning every character, every memory, every small detail. Just when I thought I had it figured out, another twist knocked me off balance.

I loved how raw and human Clara’s voice felt — her determination, her vulnerability, the way she clings to her daughter while her world falls apart. It felt so real that at times I had to remind myself to breathe.

This is psychological suspense at its finest: tense, addictive, and deeply unsettling. If you’re looking for a thriller that will keep you second-guessing right until the end, Every Last Lie is it.

📚 My takeaway: utterly gripping — you’ll question everything you think you know.
