She definitely doesn’t have time to think about Lazlo, the handsome black soldier that she processed at the draft office, but she can’t seem to stop herself. As her ability to ignore Lazlo evaporates, so does her self-imposed ignorance about her hometown. There is, and always has been, something rotten in Harrisville. It shouldn’t have been a surprise. After all, Veronica works in the cigarette factory, where corpses hide in the tobacco with the roaches.
Author bio
Lexy Delorme is a wanderer and storyteller. Raised as a Navy Brat to a United States Navy Captain, she has lived in three continents, four countries, nine states and 21 cities. Currently residing in Paris, with her charming French husband and two very cool sons, she is now a full-time author, the culmination of a career arc that has encompassed being a rock musician, science graduate, and attorney at law. Passionate about fantasy and science fiction, Lexy created the Limerence universe, including Bright Midnights, a Publishers Weekly (Booklife), “Editors Choice Pick” and winner of the UK’s YA Fiction, Golden Wizard Award.
