She does this by entering a local, clean athlete, into the Titan Games Decathlon, making it organics vs steroids, and lentils vs cocaine. Their unwelcome arrival is seen as a threat by the pharmaceutical corporations sponsoring the Games and the dirty tricks begin, with as much action off the field as on.
Can a clean athlete compete against a field enhanced on steroids to the point of deformity? Can a man outrun a deer? And is Mickey Mouse a blackfellow? Helen and her team are about to find out.
Author bio
Mark Toohey was born and raised in Sydney to a family where sport and music were a must, before making a home in the remote town of Yakutat Alaska. Here he developed a love of oral history and stories which set him travelling over a number of years, staying with communities throughout Central America down to the Amazonian Rivers. He lists his proudest moment as when the Teikweidi clan gifted the Luknahaadi a totem pole at a Tlingit Nation xoo eek ceremony, and he was included with his son to help carry the totem through Yakutat.
