After years of writing dry, professional material, David Dodds finally broke free to write the kinds of vibrant, fantastical stories he’s always loved. Drawing inspiration from the history and myths of Edinburgh, David crafts rich fantasy worlds filled with danger, wit and wonder.
He has a degree in history and a wonderfully eclectic career behind him – from conserving bats and selling books to managing chaotic businesses. He lives in Peebles with his wife Rona, a one-eyed cat, and a strong-willed dog, and spends his spare time teaching gliding.
