Join host Shane Strachan as he introduces some of Scotland’s most exciting emerging writers during our New Writers Showcase 2025, streamed live from the Traverse Theatre in Edinburgh. Every year, the New Writers Awards spotlight an amazing array of new writing talent in Scotland and now is your chance to hear the 2024 awardees read from their own work at our must-see showcase. The expert panellists relished the hard task of selecting awardees from hundreds of entries and this is your chance to hear the writers they selected read from their own work during our specially recorded digital event.
