ABOUT – Simon & Garfunkel Through The Years
Critically acclaimed as one of the greatest tribute shows in the world, Simon & Garfunkel Through the Years has toured extensively in the UK, Europe, Australia and USA, receiving standing ovations and selling out theatres night after night.
Fronted by Dan Haynes and Pete Richards, the show is a “masterpiece” (BBC Radio) in musicianship, which perfectly recreates the unmistakable sound of Simon & Garfunkel.
Featuring all the iconic songs, including The Sound of Silence, Mrs Robinson, The Boxer and the smash hit Bridge Over Troubled Water. This live concert experience is undoubtedly the most authentic tribute to Simon & Garfunkel touring the world today.
Theatre Review
I did my research before attending the show, and the reviews and critic quotes were superb to the point where I got goosebumps. My father is a huge fan of Simon & Garfunkel and their music was a soundtrack to our lives growing up. So this must-see tribute act was definitely on my bucket list.

The atmosphere that Dan Haynes and Pete Richards evoke is beautiful. You could hear a pin drop at one stage as the audience was stunned into silence by the beauty of the music and singing. The whole evening woke up a whole range of emotions in me and I was in awe. I really did not expect the experience I had. There were a couple of technical hiccups that were handled swiftly and made no impact on my experience.
What I loved the the most was hearing old releases that are new to my ears. I love that feeling.
The show has toured extensively around the UK, Europe, United States and Australia. Featuring major hits such as The Sound of Silence, Mrs Robinson, The Boxer and the iconic Bridge Over Troubled Water. Dan Haynes and Pete Richards have been working together on the show since 2011. So their passion for the music must run very deep. I think their love for it shows in each performance.

The production really does ignite all the senses. From the lighting to the live band and musicians, the smell of the theatre and then the creme de la creme of singing from Dan Haynes and Pete Richards. I feel changed by the experience and if the show is coming your way I urge you to go too.

Meghan saw this a few years back when she was working at the Brunton and loved it. We’re big S&G fans in this house too!
