Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I absolutely adored “Her Every Fear” by Peter Swanson. This book had me on the edge of my seat from start to finish, and it’s the first time in ages that a story genuinely scared me. I’m not easily spooked, but this one had me sleeping with the lights on.

Peter Swanson’s writing is nothing short of sublime. The narrative is filled with more twists than a pepper grinder, and each one is as believable as it is shocking. What I loved most was that I couldn’t predict the ending – the suspense was masterfully crafted. The characters were intricately woven into the plot, and I found myself constantly questioning their motives.

The premise of the story, with Kate Priddy making a bold decision to swap apartments with her cousin in the aftermath of a brutal attack, sets the stage for a gripping tale. The discovery of Audrey Marshall’s murder next door adds an intense layer of mystery and intrigue. As Kate grapples with her own fears and suspicions, the narrative becomes a rollercoaster of emotions.

I’m thrilled to have discovered Peter Swanson’s work, and knowing that there’s a back catalogue of titles waiting for me is a delightful bonus. I wholeheartedly recommend “Her Every Fear” to anyone who enjoys a psychological thriller with a perfect blend of suspense and unpredictability. It’s a five-star masterpiece that kept me hooked until the very last page.
