BOOK REVIEW

I recently read “Ask for Andrea” by Noelle W. Ihli and unfortunately it fell short of my expectations. Despite all the hype and promises of a thrilling and suspenseful read, I was left confused and unsatisfied.

The story revolves around James Carson, a man who has gotten away with murder three times. He lures his victims online by pretending to be an eligible bachelor, and then proceeds to play the perfect gentleman. But behind the charm and smile lies a dangerous and deadly predator, who leaves his first dates in shallow graves.

What James doesn’t know is that his three victims, Brecia, Meghan, and Skye, have found each other in the afterlife and are determined to stop him from killing again. The premise sounds promising, but unfortunately the execution falls flat.

I found myself struggling to keep track of which girl was which, and the lack of character development made it hard for me to care about their mission. Additionally, despite the promise of a haunting and thrilling read, not much happens in the story. The tension and suspense I was hoping for were sadly lacking.

Overall, while the idea behind “Ask for Andrea” is intriguing, the execution left a lot to be desired. If you’re looking for a gripping and suspenseful read, I would recommend looking elsewhere.
