Horizon Zero Dawn Vol. 2: Liberation, written by Anne Toole and illustrated by Elmer Damaso, is an incredible second volume in the Horizon Zero Dawn comic series, inspired by the video game from Guerrilla Games.
This story continues Aloy’s quest for the truth about her mysterious past and destiny. On her journey, Aloy must come to grips with the violence of the Machine War and face some of the darkest secrets of the Old World.
The stunning art in the book does a great job of bringing the world of Horizon to life. From the expansive horizons of the ancient, decrepit cities to the grandiose battles between Aloy and the Machines, Elmer Damaso’s artwork captures every detail with perfect accuracy.
At its core, Liberation is an inspiring tale of hope and resilience, with strong messages about identity, destiny, and perseverance. Aloy’s journey of self-discovery is sure to touch the hearts of many readers and the revelations that arise throughout her adventure will surely leave them wanting more.
If you’re a fan of the Horizon Zero Dawn universe or a comic book enthusiast, I’d definitely recommend picking up a copy of this gripping comic series.
