SIX
DIVORCED β BEHEADED β LIVE!
The international smash hit musical SIX makes its royal return to the Festival Theatre! Multi-award-winning, with spectacularly successful sound-track storming charts across the globe, this sell-out Tudor take-off has βan incredibly strong and powerful message. Boundary-pushing, genre-redefining’ (The Australian) and is βpure entertainment’ (The New York Times).
From Tudor Queens to Pop Princesses, the six wives of Henry VIII take to the mic to tell their tales, remixing five hundred years of historical heartbreak into an 80-minute celebration of 21st-century girl power. These Queens may have green sleeves but their lipstick is rebellious red.
Think you know the rhyme, think again…

Review by Kelly Lacey
An outstanding performance of Six at the Festival Theatre in Edinburgh, last night. A modern-day spin retelling of history that has you engaged from start to finish. With stunning costumes and a simple but eye-catching set, it all comes together flawlessly. The band aka Ladies In Waiting are on stage throughout the whole show and they really are the glue that holds it together. You will be buying the album the next day and singing the songs!

Each Queen sings their story of life with Henry VIII but with a modern take using tremendous music and relatable traits of today. It truly made learning about history fun and engaging. In fact, it made me want to learn even more about them and so I will be binge-watching The Tudors.
It is the best new musical I have seen in years and I hope to see it again and again!

The Queens were all on point and really made their characters come to life! Stand out performance for me would be Harriet Caplan-Dean who was exceptional.
A stunning show that brings girl power to the forefront! I loved every minute and would encourage you to go and see it if it comes to a city near you.
Never mind history, this is HERstory.
Five HUGE stars!
